Launching the RIT Student Chapter
We’re excited to announce the launch of an ASQ Student Chapter at RIT. This new chapter strengthens connections between students and quality professionals, creates hands-on project opportunities, and opens pathways for membership, certifications, and local networking.

What's Happening: The chapter will host workshops on basic quality tools, Lean methods, and Six Sigma fundamentals, and plans to run mentorship pairings between students and local industry volunteers.

Student Success at RIT Data Fest: The new student chapter applied statistical methods to identify data quality issues and presented recommendations after tackling real-world data cleaning and analysis on a massive 10 million-line dataset.

FIRST Robotics Competition: Congratulations to Team 3173 McQuaid (Regional Alliance honors) and Team 1126 SPARX (high scoring recognition), who showcased iterative design, rapid problem solving, and robust testing practices; all core principles of quality engineering.
